That being stated, my 8 month old is fascinated with the tune, sounds and pushing the balls in the route of the gaps (kind of like whack-a-mole). He uses hellos fingers, now not the "hammer." The one factor that my wife and I experience, is it calms hellom down when he is upset. So that by myself is pricewhile.
If Fisher Price stabilityd this better, I'd give it four or 5 superstars. Otherwise, that you can pass on this one.
Update... my son is now 9 months and has learned to place the balls in the fitting places and push them thru definitely the proper gaps. Bop & Rock Musical Lion (Toy) I got this toy for my 6 month old b/c my better half's mom has an outdated toy that also contains hammering balls thru holes. My daughter in reality loves that toy, so after I saw this I figured it was close sufficient in idea to hang her consideration. So far she actually experiences bashing stuff with the hammer and poking the balls in the path of the holes. She can best simply decide up the balls, so it's lend a handing her with dexterity. She's too younger to position the balls in the gaps on her own, so we play with this together. The fact that it is top-heavy, like others have said, would not bother me b/c I can dangle it up for her considering that I'm with her anyway.
